This 1995 special is a grab bag of all things Gen13—with the exception of the comic itself. It starts with interviews with the creators of Gen 13: J. Scott Campbell, Jim Lee, Brandon Choi, and Alex Garner. This is followed by assorted pinups, a series recap, and information on the Gen13 movie (“in production” at the time of the special).
Probably the funniest part is the one-page “Gen 13 1/2” strip at the end of the comic by Matt Feazell (The Amazing Cynicalman). Using sharp wit and his trademark stick figures, he neatly captures the unique charm of Gen13.
